Songs for the Road: meditating on the psalms of ascent

In a culture where everything is instant, the rugged journey of discipleship can become illusive and daunting. The Psalms of Ascent (psalms 120-134) were used by Jewish pilgrims on their tri-annual trek to Jerusalem. We can employ these same songs in our upward ascent to the heavenly Jerusalem.
