Beauty — a name of God.
Beauty — reality making its (His!) splendid appearance.
Beauty — our heart’s delight.
Our dominant cultural narrative—the story shaping our world—has privatized, feminized, and banished beauty. As a result, we have lost reality, ourselves, our church, and God.
How do we disrupt this god-less narrative that dominates our lives, and how do we rediscover our Father’s Reforming Beauty?
Created reality is the beautiful self-giving of God. As humans, we are God-wired to love and make beauty. But our understanding of beauty needs to be reformed. We need to see what is under our noses, and to celebrate the Triune God who is Beauty Himself.
Get ready to reflect more deeply on some fantastic doctrines of Christianity. And get ready to consent to beauty!

Our conference speaker, Dr. Esther Lightcap Meek, (Ph.D., Temple University; M.A., Western Kentucky University; B.A., Cedarville College), is Professor of Philosophy at Geneva College. She is also a Scholar with Artist Makoto Fujimura’s Fujimura Institute.
Esther enjoys talking with people in all walks of life about how knowing works—artists, athletes, scientists, counselors, believers, parents, teachers, scholars, and pastors.
